Italian electrical engineer Angelo DiAngelo decided to replenish one hobby with another, no less entertaining hobby. The fact is that Angelo loves to travel, and in memory of the places visited she creates 3D-printed souvenirs, photographing them against the background of real attractions.

Models are printed on a wide variety of 3D printers, depending on the circumstances. Sometimes Angelo resorts to the services of local 3D printing studios or friends, and sometimes he prints himself using the multifunctional 3D printer/engraver/scanner FABtotum.

With digital models, it also comes out differently: to the extent possible, the maker tries to use the models in the public domain, but if the necessary samples are not found, Angelo performs 3D modeling on her own using Tinkercad. For example, models of three churches were born in Albania, Macedonia, and Montenegro, visited by a craftsman during a visit to the Balkans.

Angelo shares the pictures on his own blog under the name “3DPrinTravel” and on Instagram under the nickname Johnnytrapano.
