3D pens are beginning to evolve like FDM printers: Scribbler has launched a crowdfunding campaign to support the first known Scribbler Duo dual extruder 3D pen.

The ability to use soluble filaments to build supports is unlikely for 3D artists, but the dual head will help draw two-color models without constantly recharging the consumable, which is convenient in itself. The supply of plastic is carried out both alternately and simultaneously.

Six-speed modes and a temperature controller are available to users, and information is displayed on the built-in liquid crystal display. Various filaments with a diameter of 1.75 mm are used as consumables, including PLA, ABS, elastomers, wood and metal composites, etc.

The Scribbler Duo 3D pen has a retail price of $ 129, and early customers can still apply for $ 60. Educational kits of twenty 3D pens and an equal number of 500-meter rolls of PLA plastic are available for $ 1,750.
