The year did not start, and the Dutch manufacturer has already introduced two updated printers - Ultimaker 2 + and Ultimaker 2 Extended +.
What has changed in the new models
We are waiting for 3 major changes 8)
1. Plastic feed system
The updated plastic feed system provides optimum pressure on the thread during printing, and also simplifies the process of replacing the filament.
2. Pre-installed Olsson Block
All updated devices have an updated hot end with interchangeable nozzles. Four nozzles are presented in the kit - 0.25, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 mm.
3. Modified cooling fans
Air flows directly to the nozzle evenly on both sides.
