Right before your eyes, waves of ferrofluid crawl onto a simple ink-black boot from a metal box, which begin to flow up and down the surface of the boot. This is truly a bewitching sight, which you will soon forget about. And this is the main goal of any advertising campaign.

Guild employees began by creating a 3D printed copy of one of the new Kevin Durant sneakers. The copy is made so high quality that on it you can distinguish each stitch and fold inherent in a real sniper. You won’t immediately understand whether this is a real boot or created using a 3D printer. Powerful magnets were placed inside the boot, which force the ferromagnetic fluid to behave in a similar way.

In general, Guild did the following: a plastic boot was placed on a platform on top of a container with black ferromagnetic fluid. Two powerful neodymium magnets were placed inside it, which move back and forth along predetermined paths. Magnets pull ferrofluid from a container and force it to take various forms. As they move, the fluid rolls over the surface of the boot, turns into spikes, goes in waves. A very unusual sight, it seems that you are looking at a living creature that is trying to eat a shoe.

Unfortunately, ferrofluid evaporates over time, leaving behind a messy black stain from magnetic material.
