On July 17, at the International Exhibition Center Plaza in Weihai, China, the ZhuoDa group company clearly demonstrated one of the options for modular construction of houses, which made a lasting impression on the whole world. The fact is that a two-story villa grew up in front of amazed visitors in just three hours! In the evening of the same day, ZhuoDa group built another modular house in Xi'an.

Modules for houses are manufactured at the company's factory, including interior decoration, wiring, plumbing, plumbing, furniture, etc. Thus, the houses are already 90% ready when they are brought to the construction site. The walls of the modules are “printed” from a special material, the composition of which is kept secret by the company.

After a short welcoming ceremony, a well-coordinated team of workers instantly assembled a house from ready-made modules using a crane. First of all, the living room was assembled, followed by a bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom on the first floor. Then came the turn of the second floor: a terrace, another bedroom and utility rooms. Everything about everything took less than three hours.

Since all the modules were manufactured in advance, the company managed to avoid many costs, without which not a single construction is complete. Due to the lack of transportation, materials, equipment and assembly costs, the final cost of these houses is much lower, which means that they are much cheaper than those that are built from scratch using traditional methods.

According to the company, the modules are made from materials obtained from industrial and agricultural waste, so they do not contain formaldehyde, ammonia, radon and other harmful substances. They are able to withstand earthquakes with a magnitude of 9 points, are not afraid of fire and water. In addition, the walls can be covered with decorative textures, giving them a resemblance to jadeite, marble, wood, granite, etc. Particularly zealous supporters of cleanliness and health may even ask the manufacturer to add Chinese herbs to the walls for "additional aromatherapy."

“The construction of an ordinary villa takes about six months. Our villa can be built in just ten days, from the time the modules were manufactured in the factory to the final assembly on site, ”explains An Yongliang, an engineer at Zhuoda Group. To build a two-story villa, you need 6 3D modules, each square meter of which accounts for approximately 100 kg of weight.

At the moment, the company already has 22 patents for new material and signed contracts for 40 government projects. By 2016, Zhuoda Group’s built houses will reach 2 billion square meters, with a combined value of 7 trillion yuan.

A house with furniture, plumbing and other amenities will cost you only 3,500 yuan / m².
